Elected in November of 2007 to the North Greenbush Town Board, I have worked hard to help bring stability and progress to the town. I made special efforts to work with residents from all walks of life and all political parties, to bridge gaps and create a new positive direction.

PROPERTY TAXES
I supported a 2009 town budget that did not raise taxes. I am committed to undertaking a comprehensive review of expenditures throughout the Town to protect taxpayers and ensure continued budget stability. As a fiscal conservative with private sector business experience, I have made reducing the burden carried by taxpayers my number one priority. I also recognize the enormous burdens placed on local budgets and property taxpayers by unfunded state and federal mandates and I will work in a cooperative fashion with all elected officials to support real reform of mandates.

YOUTH
Ensuring that our youth have adequate services and guidance is a commitment for me. With years as a coach and instructor and active supporter of youth organizations, I have and will continue to work and encourage quality youth services in our Town.

SENIORS
I have supported projects to create new and affordable senior housing in North Greenbush. Ensuring seniors have access to quality services will always be important to me and I will always treat calls and concerns from seniors as a priority.

OPEN GOVERNMENT
Open and honest government is the foundation of our democracy. I value the input of residents and encourage their involvement in local government. I encourage residents to e-mail me with suggestions and ideas regarding the operation of our Town government, and I will always maintain an open door policy when it comes to dealing with you, the residents I have been elected to serve.
